Limerick Introduction
Located on the Shannon River this city traces its roots as far back as 812AD. Known as a Viking settlement, the city served as a staging point from where the Vikings would sail along the Shannon River to plunder and pillage anything in sight. Today, the city has a population of roughly 170,000 people. It is a quaint little town we visit often. Mainly due to our close proximity to Vikings Landing. More to come about Limerick soon.
